Bill Walk joined Pietrangelo Cook PLC in May, 2016. He has had a varied practice since he became licensed in 1989. For his first two years, Mr. Walk divided time between criminal defense, domestic relations, bankruptcy and personal injury plaintiff's work. In 1992, he went to work for the Hardison Law Firm in Memphis, wherein his practice focused on representing insurance and insurance companies in a wide variety of cases including premises liability, products liability, workers' compensation, auto-accident defense and defense of medical malpractice claims. Further, his undergraduate degree in Engineering Technology allowed him to be of especial effectiveness in handling cases involving engineering/architectural negligence, He was a partner at the Hardison Law Firm from 1998-2003.

In 2003, Mr. Walk went out on his own focusing on workers' compensation defense and representing plaintiffs in medical malpractice cases and general torts. In 2006 he joined forces with his former Hardison Law Firm partner, Robert Spence to form the SpenceWalk law firm. For the next 10 years, Walk transferred his focus on his defense practice and began handling many cases involving premises security issues and representing plaintiffs in medical negligence cases. Walk successfully litigated and settled millions of dollars in claims on behalf of injured victims and their families. Most notably in October of 2010, Walk successfully obtained a jury verdict on behalf of his client in the amount of $12,285,000.

In July of 2013, Mr. Walk obtained a $4,500,000.00 verdict against a trucking company on behalf of his client, an injured motorcyclist. Besides these noteworthy verdicts, between the years 2006-2013, Mr. Walk secured millions of dollars of settlements on behalf of his clients. Mr. Walk is currently located at 431 South Main, Suite 200, Memphis, Tennessee 38103, directly across from the Civil Rights Museum. From there he has continued his work on behalf of injured persons, focusing his efforts on nursing home negligence/neglect, medical malpractice, trucking cases and a variety of wrongful death causes of action. In November of 2014, Mr. Walk obtained a verdict of $575,000 against the City of Memphis and another defendant as a result of serious injuries to his clients as a result of a negligent police pursuit of a third party.
